All I can say is JUST GO. Amazing food, the Chefs are obviously 100% committed to producing quality food and love what they do as this comes through in the taste and presentation. amazing staff especially the assistant manageress and the lady who does breakfasts who looks like Carla Connor from Corrie. All the staff bent over backwards to accommodate any requests. The atmosphere in the pub is brilliant and very friendly. The room was clean and cosy warm. I grew up in a guest house and worked in many hotels myself and can honestly say this place outshines everywhere I've ever stayed or worked at. If I'm ever stopping in Congleton again I will definitely stay there again. Thank you for making my stay so great.
We were in Congleton around lunchtime, so popped into The Lion and Swan for some lunch. Food was good, as was the service. No complaints at all.
Great hotel. Very comfortable rooms. Good food. Fantastic, friendly and efficient staff. We were attending a wedding nearby and arrived very early so we knew the rooms wouldn't be ready, but asked if we could park the car and have a look round Conception as the Christmas Market was on. The manager said it was no problem. He then gave us the room keys saying both rooms would be ready within 20 mins. He didn't need to do this but we really appreciated the extra effort. We had a delicious lunch in the hotel by which time the rooms were ready to perfection.
Very welcoming. Lovely big bedroom & ensuite. Good choice at breakfast time. Highly recommended.
