Bought a car from Burns at the start of the year lovely supporting and everything went through smoothly. I loved the car! I was given free breakdown cover from the dealer when I had bought the car. However, I recently phoned back (this week) due to being involved in an accident, which was not my fault. I explained what had happened and asked the lady for the phone number for break down cover (on the day of the accident), whilst I was with the highway police and was informed it was nothing to do with them. Found the attitude awful seeing as I had just been involved in an accident, and sounded like they didn't even care. I explained that breakdown had been sold by themselves, I was asked by the lady who the original sales man was but I could not remember, I was also in shock at the time. I Found their service highly rude and was only trying to obtain a phone number to get home. Eventually I was passed onto another gentleman (who was actually more helpful and genuinely kind), as he realised the original sales man had left, he then gave me the correct phone number and I managed to get recovered. I have now chosen to go elsewhere for my replacement car as my original vehicle was written off, I am highly disappointed as I was so pleased with their service originally.
