I purchased a Nissan Qashqai. The deal went well but after that it went down hill. After 3 weeks of being messed about and with phone calls not being returned I was left no option but to look elsewhere. I dont live local and I made the 70 minute journey to view the car which had no fuel and warning lights on. I did drive the car with the faults I was just given the keys and left to it. I was promised the car was ready for delivery and I amended my insurance st a cost of 110. The day before delivery I called to check and I was told the car had developed the same fault which I cant understand as they have used genuine Nissan parts and the car was checked by them. 3 weeks I have waited for the car and I was disappointed to be let down. I have had no apology and no phone call. When you view these cars ensure all faults are done before you view. Im so disappointed and frustrated with Lawson Motor Company.
Nice range of used cars. Very well presented but honest condition. Prices are, from what we looked, at well priced and competitive. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful without any pressure to buy.We'll worth a visit if you're in the market for a used car.
After a long search for a quality used car I decidedly on a C Class Mercedes, seeing the car online I made an appointment to view it however I was late due to traffic after 6pm, this was no trouble the garage waited for me , the car was immaculate and as described Dealing with David was a pleasure no pressure and happy to discuss my requirements Had a minor issue with the car a few weeks later this was resolved quickly and very professionally no fuss just great service If i have the need for another car in the future I would not hesitate to return
I would highly recommend Lawson Motor Company to anyone who is looking for a friendly,No jargon, no hard sales but professional service.The stock quality of the cars is great and all well prepared.I travelled around 180 miles to look at the car I was interested in, turned up with a car I wanted to trade in part exchange and within 10 minutes I was offered a fair price and the sale was agreed.Thanks to Paul.....As I lived so far away he made every effort to tax and mot and safety check the car so I could drive it home.Within 3 hours I was sorted and on my way.I will certainly check on these guys again when considering another car.W.Todd
This review is a little late as I actually purchased my car back in March, but I have to say how impressed I was with the service received from David. We were left to look over the car in our own time, and were given the keys to take it for a test drive on our own. Not feeling pressured, I felt happy to buy the car. There was a niggle with the car (absolutely nothing to do with Lawson's) meaning I took it back during the warranty period. The problem was fixed to my satisfaction and they let me have use of a courtesy car. Overall great service, and definitely not a pushy sales technique. When the time comes to change my car I'll certainly be looking to see what Lawson's have at the time. But for the time being I'm loving being the proud owner of a convertible during this heatwave!
