Great place for a short walk. The terrain on the main path around the lake is suitable for both wheelchairs and prams. Water sports and other recreational activities take place on the water such as kayaking. There's often an ice cream van near the grassy area by the toilets and car park.
Pay and display car park with marked bays. There is toilets and and information room on site and an ice cream van is often here. Nice path around the lake and very popular with dog walkers.
Local beauty spot with hard concrete path around the circumference if the lake which means it is suitable for all. Youngest children to the oldest and even wheelchair bound can come and enjoy the lovely lake, feed the ducks and see the wildlife in this lovely spot. Picnic tables around the main car park and toilet block and normally an ice cream van who also does not coffees!
Great place to visit. Mainly dog walkers and/or families. Should have more facilities and picnic benches dotted around. Too much devoted to nature reserve of which most cannot be seen yet the place could not do this without visitors.
Lovely wooded area with good footpaths. The lake is always covered in wildlife. They have a toilet block which includes an information room. The parking is not free but this pays for the heath's upkeep. If you have a dog this area is perfect.
