Great place all year round...always something going on..well kept gardens and a wonderful forest behind...(the colours of the tree line in autumn is wonderful)...parking is the only issue...As with everywhere nowadays
Nice little walk with the river on the side. Plenty open space to play if you've got kids etc. The play park is massive which is surprising given the size of the park but hey you won't be weighing up the disproportionate scal of it when you don't have to queue for the swings will you.
Went down on bonfire night well organised, more food and drink vans are needed though as the queues are ridiculous, it's the same for the kids rides it's every man for themselves. But the fireworks were really good
Beautiful place, well maintained, clean and peaceful. Love spending time here!
We took the dog for a walk to the park, I sat & watched as my partner was throwing sticks for her to bring back to him, she also noticed the river & soon found a way to go for a swim as she loves the water, my partner had never been to the park before with being from Wolverhampton & he said he really liked it there & how many people were there with their dogs.
